Island Carts, LLC is the #1 golf cart and low speed vehicles provider (LSVs) across the Central Gulf Coast since 2014. We only rent street legal (registered and plated) carts, so we are specialists in the field, and can answer just about any question thrown our way, concerning the operation of our vehicles, as well as where they can and cannot be driven.

Our delivery area stretches from Fort Morgan, AL to Pensacola, FL and all cities in between (we no longer service Dauphin Island).

Island Carts, LLC does not operate out of a retail business location. We provide concierge delivery and pickup service directly to local homes and businesses.

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel at least 30 days prior to their rental date to receive a full refund minus a $25 service fee. Customers that cancel after the 30 day period will not be eligible for a refund. Customers may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it’s outside the 30 day cancellation period. No refunds once the cart has been rented. Customer must be at least 21 years old with a valid credit card, valid auto insurance and drivers license.

  • AT NO TIME ARE THE CARTS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH OR IN THE WATER (YES, IT’S HAPPENED)

  • ANY VIOLATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT WILL RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF THE CART WITHOUT REFUND

  • DAMAGES TO VEHICLES DURING RENTAL PERIOD ARE THE CUSTOMERS’ RESPONSIBILITY AND REPAIRS WILL BE BILLED TO THE CUSTOMER AT ISLAND CART’S NORMAL PARTS AND LABOR

  • CUSTOMERS MAY EXTEND THEIR RENTAL PERIOD BUT IT IS NOT GUARANTEED. APPROVAL FROM THE RENTAL MANAGER IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ANY EXTENSIONS.

  • RESERVATIONS ASSUME DELIVERY BY 4PM ON DAY OF ARRIVAL AND PICK UP BY 9AM DAY OF DEPARTURE UNLESS AGREED UPON IN WRITING

  • CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING ANY HOA/COMMUNITY SPECIFIC RULES

  • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT RENT A CART/LSV AT ANYTIME.

Parents or guardians allowing a child to operate a golf cart are subject to a fine in excess of $200.00. Golf carts/LSVs being operated in violation of state law are also subject to being towed at owner’s expense.

There are restrictions on the use of golf carts in the State of Alabama and Florida. Golf carts must be licensed, insured, and registered as Low Speed Vehicles (LSV) with the Dept. of Motor Vehicles. LSV's may not be operated on side walks, primary roads or highways. ALL drivers must be licensed and at least 21 years old....NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Golf carts are allowed on secondary roads with a posted speed limit of 25mph or less and can cross primary roads. All state traffic laws must be obeyed and the seating capacity of the golf cart cannot be exceeded.

No, Island Carts LLC does not service Dauphin Island. Our delivery area includes Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Perdido Key, and Pensacola Beach. If you’re unsure about your location, please contact us for confirmation.

No, the City of Gulf Shores does not permit golf carts on West Beach or East Beach Boulevard.

We provide both gas and electric carts. Our team will supply the best option based on availability and customer needs.

We offer delivery and pickup services in Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Perdido Key, and Pensacola Beach. Dauphin Island is not serviced.

To rent a golf cart, you must:
✅ Be at least 21 years old
✅ Have a valid driver’s license
✅ Provide proof of valid auto insurance
✅ Have a valid credit card for payment

Our street-legal golf carts (LSVs) can be driven on roads with a speed limit of 35 mph or lower, where permitted by local laws. They are NOT allowed on major highways, interstates, or restricted areas such as East and West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores.

We offer 3-day, 4-day, and 7-day rental options for 4-passenger and 6-passenger golf carts. Additional days may be added based on availability.

  • Electric carts come with a charging cable. Renters must ensure they have access to an outlet for overnight charging.
  • Gas carts come with a full tank and should be refueled with regular unleaded gasoline as needed.

No, our golf carts cannot be driven on the beach, sand dunes, nature trails, or any off-road terrain. Violating this rule may result in the rental being revoked without a refund.

Island Carts LLC ensures all golf carts are well-maintained and serviced regularly. If you experience any issues, contact us immediately, and we will provide assistance, repairs, or a replacement cart if necessary.

  • Cancellations 30+ days before the rental start date receive a full refund minus a $25 service fee.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the rental period are non-refundable.
  • Once the rental has begun, no refunds will be issued.
  • You may modify your reservation for free as long as changes are made outside the 30-day cancellation window.

Yes! We offer golf cart delivery and pickup services within our service areas. Fees may apply, depending on location.

Deliveries are typically by 4 PM on the start date, and pickups are scheduled by 9 AM on the return date, unless agreed upon otherwise.

To book a rental, customers must:
✔ Pay in full at the time of booking
✔ Sign and complete the rental agreement
✔ Provide a valid driver’s license, credit card, and auto insurance
